Not a real blogger...

So, these first few days of Christmas Break have afforded me a few spare moments to read some wonderful blogs that I try to follow. And I've come to a very definite conclusion. I am NOT A BLOGGER! After looking at the work of others, I return to my site to find it just as I left it - boring! Oh well, maybe one of these days I'll try to figure out some of the cute features, designs, and posting styles of the more blog-worthy peeps in this world. Until then, I think I'll head back to the couch with my Dr. Pepper, my Mama's D-LICIOUS peanut butter balls, and my book (no wait I finished that already...) and waste away the last few minutes of my little darlin's nap! Merry Christmas!!

Newest hat!

Thursday, July 29, 2010

Hello again! I haven't taken the time to add anything for several months. In the time that has passed, I have completed my mater's degree, celebrated the wedding of two wonderful friends, thrown a 1st birthday party(time really does pass as quickly as everyone said it would...), taken a couple of vacations, wasted away several lazy summer days, and done very little stitching!! Here are a few pictures just for fun...

just chillin' in some quite over-sized snow boots!

Getting to know Somethin' Sassy

Hello Everyone! When a friend gave me a "learn to crochet" book for Christmas a couple of years ago, I quickly became "hooked"! Creating simple, handmade goodies - mostly for children - has become a favorite pastime. I call my little projects Somethin' Sassy because I try to steer away from typical baby pastel shades and create things that are a little more lively - or shall we say sassy?!
